Today the crack has gotten bigger and longer. And I took a picture of the root inside that is supposed to grow out the bottom. I can't wait to see it.

Avocado Tree Day 13

The crack has gotten a little bigger. And I can look in it and see a little white thing on the inside but I couldn't take a picture of it. It was to small.

I was out of town for the weekend so I missed a few days but its day 12. And its split completely up the one side and its vary wide.

Day 7 Avocado Tree

Looks about the same a little browner today then before. I can't wait for this thing to open up in to a baby tree.

Popsicle stick bird houses

Today we made Popsicle stick bird houses. It was simple and fun. What we did was put 12 sticks down and glued two in the middle to hold them together, 6 times, then glued them all together. Let it dry then painted it. And in the end we got these cute little bird houses.

Day6 Avocado Tree

It looks the same as yesterday. But the crack is a lot bigger. So I took a picture of it and so here it is.

Day 5 Avocado Tree

 Day 5 Avocado Tree. Today it looks vary pale and dried out. The crack on the bottom is a lot bigger it stretches up the sides. I tried to take a picture of it. But it didn't turn out.

Still looks about the same. What it needs is light  its been so rainy lately.

Day 3 Avocado tree

Looks about the same but theres a wee little crack on the bottom. I couldn't take a picture of it. Its so small so if it gets bigger ill take one and post it.

This is what it looks like day 2 it doesn't look much different. I changed the water and put it out side to get some light.

Trying to Grow an Avocado Tree Day 1

So while I was trying to find a Mother's Day present or a craft to make for my mom. I found this link http://www.wikihow.com/Plant-an-Avocadoree. So I decided to try it. Now Mother's Day has come and gone but I'm still going to try and grow an avocado tree. I followed the steps till step 8. The brown shell on mine has all ready pealed off. So I started last night and took this picture. I also took a picture today and I’ll post that in a bit. But for right now this is what it looks like on day 1. I will post a picture of this little avocado pit every chance I can. I hope you enjoy seeing it grow over the next few weeks.
